The Experience
Every gathering is prayerfully prepared and thoughtfully led. The rhythm is shared — abide, explore, discover, create, reflect — but no two experiences are exactly the same.
The rhythm
Not a five-step system to complete. A rhythm to walk through together — with time to pause, pray, notice, and create without hurry.
Before we ask where we are going, we begin with Who we belong to.
We turn our attention toward Christ through prayer, praise, and worship. We acknowledge God as Father and settle into his presence with gratitude, listening, and openness — trusting that as we seek him, he reveals what he has already prepared and how we are invited to walk with him.
We begin with the truth that we are created — intentionally, uniquely, and in relationship with our Creator.
Through a short teaching we pause to consider what it means to be intentionally made: identity in Christ, unique design, and the truth that our lives are not accidental. Nothing about you was left to chance.
We gather the pieces, notice the patterns, and put language to the legacy taking shape.
This is the guided portion of the experience. Together we move through reflection sheets and exercises covering values, gifts, experiences, relationships, priorities, desires, patterns, and the areas of life that carry the most meaning. The reflection gathers into a personal Legacy Statement.
We give visual expression to what has been revealed.
Using the Legacy Statement and reflection work, each person creates a personal Legacy Board. There is no template and no right way for it to look — words, photographs, Scripture, images, symbols, colors, memories, hopes, and textures are all welcome.
We pause to give thanks for what we have been given and embrace the plan God has created for each of us.
The experience closes gently: reflection, sharing if you would like to, gratitude, and prayer. You leave with your work in your hands and room to keep listening.
Prepared in prayer
Before each gathering, I pray and seek God for the people who will be present. The structure remains, but the teaching, the reflection, the conversation, and the creative work may shift depending on the group and the season they are walking through.
Created for Legacy provides the structure. There is still room for God to lead.
We do not strive toward a life we have designed. We faithfully walk into the life God is revealing.
